That that’s the way our country works now. And then everybody’s talking about sue, sue, sue. Should I sue? Well, let me exhaust. Let me just spend. How about, let’s keep spending, But I’m gonna explore what I can do and then I want to see if it’s gonna be worth it, worth all the headache.” -Roger “The Needle” Clemens

Hardin: Of course not, your face does.
“I got another asinine question the other day about the Hall of Fame. You think that I played my career because I’m worried about the damn Hall of Fame? I could give a rat’s ass about that…” - Roger “The Syringe” Clemens
Good Rog, at least now we all know you wont be disappointed. I just got finished wasting an hour of my life watching Clemens stupid press conference where Roger’s people played a recorded conversation that made him look, in the least, of dubious guilt. If Clemens was, as he claims, innocent of wrong doing he would have pushed the issue on the phone with McNamee. Why Rusty Hardin, Clemens attorney, would think this is evidence in Roger’s favor, as McNamee never accused Clemens on the phone of taking PEDs, Hardin needs his head examined. Hardin might as well posed the question “If Brittney Spears is so out of control, why havent any of her people forced her into a program?” You’re entourage, by the purpose of their function, doesn’t tell truth to power; it’s an act of suicide.
if he does care about McNamee so much and the call was placed because of McNamee’s child’s heath problems, why was it recorded at all? And if Roger’s party were the ones recording it, and if you listen to Rusty Hardin his legal team is quite small, how did the tape leak. If this all Roger has to clear himself he might as well take his spot on the bench next to Pete Rose and Rafael Palmero on the “Players with great numbers who aren’t making the Hall of Fame.”
How close to cracking did McNamee seem. This guy is going to wind up in the nuthouse or dead. Look for Roger Clemens Attorney’s “Investigators” to find the body. If you listened to the tape, McNamee himself his life has crumbled, he has no money, and his family is gone. Is this guy really expected to fight a legal battle against a millionaire? I doubt it. Roger is trying to crush this guy. You’re a class act Rog!
Rusty Hardin isn’t funny. Can Roger not afford a better attorney? Was Roger’s 25 million deal paid in Pesos? Do they really expect us to believe the Mitchell report was devised to frame Roger? Someone call Mark Furman. Of course I guess anything is better than defense Roger came up with himself of “I am beyond suspicion because I’m a Yankee.” On the other hand, the dreaded Yankee defense has been known to work…

How many times did Clemens bring up sick kids? Geez, Pettitte’s kid, McNamee’s Kid, his college coach’s kid. Does he know any kids that haven’t died or are dying? Look for Roger to trot out the parade of “sick kids that this media circus has infected” in five, four, three, two…
Yeah, I know sick kids isn’t something to joke about. Blame Roger, he put them in the public eye. This guy is and always has been a sorry individual incapable of remorse or accepting blame. Every moment of this guy’s journey, from his fall from grace to his circling the drain to becoming a pitch man for disposable syringes on late night TV has the effect of a car accident; it’s you know what you are going to see, it’s nauseating but you can’t look away. I wonder where Roger learned to fake emotion or act hurt for the cameras?

Oh yeah, now I remember.
