Good God, I am tired of watching Heilman load the bases. I am tired of the way he purses his lips while looking in for the pitch. I am tired of Notre Dame. I hate the number 48.
Reyes’s error opened the door, and Heilman would have gotten out of the eighth, but I have absolutely no confidence in him right now, regardless of his luck against the Phillies on Saturday.
Second Heilman nickname: That guy who takes a shower while the Mets are in the field in the Eighth.
Give Duaner his eighth inning role back. Now.
The Cubs are a hot team. Zambrano is a dyed in the wool ace. The Mets were likely to score one or less, but game ball to Aaron who took the Mets completely out of the game.

Heilman is the absolute worst! He consistently blows games that take the wind out of the team’s sails. I mean, how disheartening is it to go into the 8th or 9th with a lead and then blow it after working so hard for 3 hours. Your starting pitchers are pissed, the field players feel completely let down…
What does this Notre Dame BUM have to do to lose his job…I don’t care that Wagner is hurt – put in Kunz, or ANYONE else. Sure, they are not proven to be able to handle the late-inning assignments, but Heilman HAS proven that he CANNOT!
He has something like 9 HRs in 60 innings…for a reliever?? Someone check if he’s involved in a point-shading scandal too… he’s gotta be on the take, no one is this bad. But seriously, if you screwed up your job (and you can do anything from being a garbage man to the President of a Fortune 500 company) as much as Heilman you’d be unemployed.
FIRE HEILMAN – seriously bring Doug Sisk back – never thought I would utter those words, but he’s better than What the Heilman!
