If you want Tex Mex(sort of)try Chuy's-There is one on Westheimer, which is not too far from where you will be and another on Richmond. Any Pappasitas will be good food, but not really Tex Mex. There is a Pappas on Richmond as well(Pappa Mias) that I like-it is Italian and you get a LOT of food. Pappas Bros are Greek? who have a large chain of restaurants. Carrabas is another chain(itlian)Both chains started in Houston. Cant make the games(live in Austin)but will watch.
