(Reuters) - Johan Santana of the New York Mets and Miami's Josh Johnson went toe-to-toe in a taut pitchers duel but neither starter picked up the win as the Mets' bullpen carried the home team to a 2-1 win on Tuesday. Johnson and two-times Cy Young winner Santana each allowed just one run and three hits over 6 2/3 innings. Santana registered 11 strikeouts while Johnson had nine.
