It's funny. If you saw anyone walking around with so many bandages and ice wrapped around their left arm, you'd assume they were messed up something fierce. But in a baseball clubhouse, it's a routine scene. Even when it's a guy like Johan Santana, who has spent the past few years battling an awful shoulder problem . Staying routine, of course, counts as a big win for the New York Mets left-hander at this point in his career. And he was just that during his first spring training start on Tuesday, throwing 29 pitches over two scoreless innings.
